Liability coverage protects you financially if you unintentionally cause bodily injury or property damage to others—at your home or anywhere in the world. All plans offer up to $2,000,000 in liability coverage.

For example: Say you are found at fault for an accident that caused extensive property damage or serious injuries to another person. If the courts order you to pay $1,200,000 in damages and you only have $1,000,000 in liability coverage, you could be held personally responsible for the remaining $200,000.

The amount you must pay out-of-pocket for a claim before your insurance policy pays.

The amount of insurance coverage is the cost to rebuild your home in the event it was a total loss. This is referred to as the replacement cost.

A detached structure on your property can be a storage shed, fence or other structure separate from your home itself. The amount of coverage is the equivalent of 20% of the replacement value of your home.

For example: If the replacement value of your home is $400,000, the amount of coverage for your detached structures would be $80,000.

The amount of coverage is the equivalent of 90% of the replacement value of your home.

For example: If the replacement value of your home is $400,000, the amount of coverage for your personal property would be $360,000.
