Cover your belongings against loss, theft or damage.
If you're flying, taking a bus or train, and/or travelling with a tour company, you may have only a bare minimum of protection for your belongings.
With our Baggage and Personal Effects Insurance, you'll be eligible for up to $2,000 in coverage1 against loss or damage to the baggage and personal effects that you own and use during your trip.
In addition, this insurance will reimburse you up to $200 if you need to replace your travel documents, including your driver's licence, passport, birth certificate and/or travel visa.
Note: You must purchase this insurance prior to your trip departure date. Coverage begins on the date you are scheduled to leave your departure point.

2 Protection against baggage delay is not included with stand-alone Baggage and Personal Effects Insurance. However, baggage delay coverage is included with the Deluxe Package, TravelCare® Packages, Travel within Canada Package, and Non-Medical Package.
