Package Upgrades (Benefits Riders)

Our travel insurance packages provide the coverage most travellers need. However, there may be times when you want to enhance your coverage even more.

For example, a package add-on could be ideal if:

• You're planning a vacation or tour package
• You're travelling to attend a wedding, conference or other special event
• You want enhanced benefits such as increased reimbursement limits for certain expenses

Note: You may purchase a package upgrade if you qualify for and buy one of the following travel insurance packages: Deluxe Package, TravelCare® Package, Travel within Canada Package, or Non-Medical Package. In addition, you must buy the package upgrade before your departure date.

Rider 1 - Package Upgrade provides additional coverage for those travellers attending special events or for those who desire a range of enhanced benefits with increased subsistence allowance and baggage delay coverage Rider 2 Golf/Ski Upgrade additional benefits include trip interruption benefits covering non-refundable green fees or unused lift tickets and delay of Golf clubs or Ski equipment by the common carrier
