Coverage against certain events that may occur when you're flying, at the airport and more.
This insurance covers the traveller while they are a passenger on their scheduled airline flight or, while at the airport departing or arriving for a flight. For a very low premium the traveller can be covered for up to $100,000 in the event of accidental death or injury. Flight Accident Insurance covers you2 while you are a passenger on your scheduled airline flight as well as when you are :
- At the airport departing or arriving for your flight
- Riding as a passenger in a limousine or bus service provided by the airline or airport authority
- Riding as a passenger in a scheduled helicopter shuttle service to and from airports to make a connection with your flight
- Riding as a passenger in a land or water conveyance at the expense of the airline as a substitute for your flight
Note: You must purchase this insurance prior to your flight's scheduled departure date and time.
