Equipment (for Watercraft)

This includes your watercraft's equipment and miscellaneous accessories, including boat trailers. Miscellaneous accessories refer to the on-board items which are not permanently attached to the insured boat(s), and pertain to its use and safety. This includes boat covers, anchors, nautical charts, life preservers, lines, paddles, fire extinguishers, seat cushions, flares, horns, flaps, batteries, boxes, battery chargers, pumps, sails and similar equipment.

Equipment does not include water skis or other water-related sports equipment.

Motor (for Watercraft)

This includes your watercraft's motor(s), gasoline tank(s), connecting line(s) and battery(s) used with it.

Specified Perils – Revenue Property

Revenue property is insured under Specified Perils coverage, which provides protection against the specific, named risks listed in your policy. This means that your building itself (or condo unit), any detached structures such as a fence or storage shed (if applicable) and your personal property like furniture (but not your tenants' property) are insured against specific, named sudden and accidental risks of direct physical loss or damage such as:

  • Fire and Lightning
  • Explosions
  • Falling Objects
  • Impact by Aircraft or Land Vehicles
  • Riot
  • Water Damage
  • Smoke
  • Windstorm or Hail
  • Vandalism or Malicious Acts (Vandalism or malicious damage caused by your tenant(s), their employees, their guests or invitees, or members of their household is not covered.)
  • Transportation
  • Theft
Specified Perils – Seasonal Property

Seasonal property is insured under Specified Perils coverage, which provides protection against the specific, named risks listed in your policy. This means that your building itself, any detached structures such as a fence or storage shed (if applicable) and your personal property like furniture are insured against specific, named sudden and accidental risks of direct physical loss or damage such as:

  • Fire and Lightning
  • Explosion
  • Falling Objects
  • Impact by Aircraft or Land Vehicles
  • Riot
  • Water Escape and Rupture and Freezing
  • Smoke
  • Windstorm or Hail
  • Vandalism or Malicious Acts
  • Burglary Damage (except losses by theft)
