In general:
When you have a claim, call us as soon as possible. It's important because you have to submit your claim within a certain period of time. This timeframe varies by product, and is generally within 30 to 150 days of the occurrence. In the event of a life insurance claim, you will need to inform us within one year of the date of death. It's best to call us right away, and we'll guide you.
If you have your insurance policy handy when you call, it will make it easier for us to help you. But if you don't have it, don't worry, we'll still be able to assist you.
