Your Policy
Your coverage is now provided by Aviva General Insurance Company.
Insurance Advice
Your licensed insurance advisors at RBC Insurance will continue to provide you with insurance advice and service – for all your insurance needs.
Making a Claim
If you have a claim, or need to make a claim in the future, this will now be handled by knowledgeable claims advisors at Aviva General Insurance Company.

There is nothing you need to do differently, and the transition to Aviva does not change the protection you have today or the amount you pay for it. A licensed insurance advisor at RBC Insurance will continue to be available to provide you with advice about your coverage. Your coverage is now provided by Aviva General Insurance Company, and if you need to make a claim in the future, Aviva will assist you.
There are no changes to the protection you have through your Home and Auto insurance policy. Your policy is now with Aviva General Insurance Company, and moving forward, they will provide the exceptional claims assistance that our clients are accustomed to.
Our relationship with Aviva does not affect the amount you pay for your coverage and any discounts you may have remain the same. As you may know, all insurance companies review rates annually when you renew your coverage. Your premium may change based on this annual review, but not directly as a result of our arrangement with Aviva.
You can continue to use the same number you do today -- 1-877-749-7224 -- if you need to make a claim or have questions about claims. Aviva will be responsible for claims administration going forward and any current or future claims will now be paid by Aviva.
You can continue to visit your local RBC Insurance store or call our Advice Centre at 1-877-749-7224. Through that one number:
- RBC Insurance will provide you with the advice you need about your home and auto insurance needs
- RBC Insurance will ensure your records are updated
- Aviva will provide claims assistance
- Our fax number also remains the same: 1-800-276-1947.
